RS PRO 9 Way Cable Mount D-Sub Connector Plug


This sturdy RS PRO 9-way cable-mount D-Sub connector plug is designed to be used in a range of commercial and industrial applications including computer interfacing.

The straight-orientated female plug is sturdy and has an IP67 rating meaning it's both waterproof and will keep dust out. This is down to its study design which uses EDPM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) rubber pads, silicone cable end gaskets and reliably sealed solder bucket connectors to keep the assembly secure.

This plug has a tough steel shell which not only adds to its durability but is also plated with nickel to avoid corrosion over time. The gold-coated contacts are insulated with the thermoplastic polymer PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) and made from a premium copper alloy.

The plug contains low levels of dangerous material making it compliant with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) standards.
