RS PRO 3.6 V Lithium Thionyl Chloride D Battery
This RS PRO lithium thionyl chloride D battery set lets you power your devices. It's hermetically sealed in a stainless steel can, so it has a low magnetic signature and therefore offers superior resistance to corrosion.
These cells can be used at temperatures ranging from -60°C to + 85°C. For safety, they're fitted with a vent. If you're using a series or parallel connections of more than one cell, refer to the datasheet and use a tabbed version, rather than soldering directly to the cell. With their high terminal voltage of 3.6 V (volts), these batteries should only be used in appropriate appliances and not as direct replacements for others in the same can size.
These batteries are RoHS compliant so contain minimal levels of hazardous materials. They're also suitable for business and home settings and are used in many larger appliances, such as portable radios and electronic toys.
