This steel crocodile clip can be used to create temporary, flexible connections safely and is one of the simplest methods of linking up components cables and wires in circuits.

The clip has large spring-loaded jaws which open up to 30 mm in width, making it simple to attach to and detach from batteries or components. The enhanced finger grip on the handle makes this clip easy to use and once clamped in place allows the user to release the grip on the connector securing it in place.

At the opposite end of the clip there is a secure 4 mm screw fixing, enabling effortless connection to a range of common cables, devices and equipment. With steel contacts that are resistant to oxidation and other types of corrosion, these contacts are nickel-plated to further improve durability. These crocodile clips are ideal for attaching onto wires or cables to create an electrical connector, the clip is attached to components and establishes a connection between the two.

    Crocodile clips (also alligator clips) are common accessories used to create flexible, temporary or experimental electrical connections in industrial settings or laboratories. For example, this could be between two wires or between an electrical lead and the anode or cathode of a device (i.e. the entrance and exit points of an electrical current).

    A crocodile clip (also alligator clip) is a sprung metal clip with long, serrated jaws which is used for creating a temporary electrical connection. Functioning much like a spring-loaded clothespin, the clip's tapered, serrated jaws are forced together by a spring to grip an object.
