Mueller Crocodile Clip


The Mueller mini-crocodile clip has upper jaws of a crocodile clip nest inside the lower jaws. This allows an excellent connection with small wires. It is used as connectors. The jaw opening is maximum 6.1mm apart. The material used to make this clip is 304 stainless steel. The current rating is given as 5A. The insulators can be externally used with this clip. The larger versions of these clips, called automotive clips or battery clamps, is made of solid copper. For low electrical resistance, it is used with thick insulated copper cables to make connections between automobile batteries.
