Silicon Labs Wi-SUN Wireless Starter Kit EFR32MG12 Wireless SoC WiFi Development Board for EFR32MG12 Mighty Gecko

A Wi-SUN Wireless Starter Kit (WSTK) with 868-915 MHz Radio Boards (BRD4170A) is an excellent starting point to get familiar with the EFR32™ FG12 and MG12 Wireless System-on-Chip solutions. It provides all necessary tools for developing a Wi-SUN wireless applications.

The Wireless Starter Kit Mainboard contains an on-board J-Link debugger with a Packet Trace Interface and a virtual COM port, enabling application development and debugging of the attached radio board as well as external hardware. The mainboard also contains sensors and peripherals for easy demonstration of some of the EFR32's many capabilities.

BRD4170A is a plug-in board for the Wireless Starter Kit Mainboard. It is a complete reference design for the EFR32MG12 Wireless SoC, with 19 dBm output power, a PCB antenna for the 2.4 GHz band, and an SMA connector and a wide-band matching network for operation in either the 868 MHz or the 915 MHz band.
