Eaton Circuit Trip For Use With N(S)2(-4), N(S)3(-4), NZM2/3 Series, Undervoltage Release Type - 259591 NZM2/3-XUHIV208-240AC

Use this undervoltage release circuit trip from Eaton with the N(S)2(-4), N(S)3(-4) and NZM2(-4) series of moulded case circuit breakers. It automatically trips whenever the power falls below a set level, guarding against damage by preventing attached devices from operating on reduced voltage. It's fitted with two early-make auxiliary contacts that can be programmed to activate before the primary contacts, making it suitable for interlocks with other switches. You'll find circuit trips like this one used in applications such as emergency generators, smart machines and lighting systems.

Features & Benefits

• Suitable for use in emergency-stop devices along with an emergency stop button

• Accidental contact with the primary contacts is prevented when the Undervoltage trip is switched off

• Rated control voltage of 208 to 240V AC makes it suitable for use with UK mains power

• Screw connectors help you quickly make secure connections

What problems can undervoltage cause?

Undervoltage can cause problems in electrical devices. These can include overheating, premature failure and shutdown. Motors in devices such as dryers and refrigerators may run hotter than normal, reducing their service life. Incandescent lighting might dim and batteries can fail to recharge.
