RS PRO PTFE Clear Protective Sleeving, 3.05 mm Diameter


These cable sleeves from our trusted RS PRO range provide electrical insulation, mechanical protection and abrasion resistance for wiring. They also protect cables in harsh environments.

These flexible, clear, protective sleeves have a diameter of 3.05 mm and are made from PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). PTFE is a particularly tough material as it resists corrosion and contamination and is highly heat-resistant. You'll find it in a variety of applications, including HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), manufacturing and food processing. It's also an excellent insulator and these cable sleeves have a dielectric strength of 45 kV/mm.

The sleeving can be used at temperatures from -65°C to +260°C and has a melting point of +327°C. It's highly flame retardant, meaning that cables remain protected in the event of a fire, and halogen-free, so it won't release toxic gas. With RoHC compliance, it doesn't contain harsh chemicals.
