This plastic encapsulated safety switch for monitoring moveable separating protective devices is kept shut and locked by the safety switch until the risk of injury from potentially dangerous machine parts (e.g. run-on movements) has passed.
The protective device is released by applying voltage to the magnets fitted in the safety switch.
