This steel rod end from RS PRO can be used to build pneumatic and coupler mechanisms. As it doesn't require lubrication, there's no need for maintenance.

There are two female connections on this rod end, each with an M16 thread and a bore size of 16 millimetres. It has an overall length of 83 millimetres, a dynamic load rating of 42,900 newtons and a static load rating of 21,500 newtons. The ball swivel permits a certain degree of misalignment to the connected shafts.

As part of the RS PRO series, the product has been stringently tested. This rod end conforms to Electrostatic Control Standards ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 and is suitable for use in pneumatic cylinder and coupler mechanisms. These are commonly found in applications such as printing and packing machines, labelling machines and mechanical controls.
