Epic Ultra housing is EMC complaint, with optimum low-resistance screening for use in areas where electromagnetic interference is a concern. The metal housing is also very resistant to corrosion, chemicals and water ingress, meaning it can stand up to challenging environments.

The housing can be combined with a cable gland to ensure a sealed connection as well as optimal strain relief. This housing also locks firmly into place with its corresponding connectors when connected,

Environment

Fully assembled and mated connector kits are protected to IP65. This means they have excellent protection against particle ingress, and resistant to water sprays from any angle. This means the connectors are suitable for most harsh environments, and even some outdoor applications.
