A Star screwdriver is a hand tool used for tightening and untightening Star screws on a range of applications. A Star screwdriver features a Star tip type that enhances torque and grip of the screw. A Star screwdriver works in the same way a standard screwdriver does, however, due to the tip type the torque is enhanced. In order to tighten a Star screw, turn the Star screwdriver clockwise once the tip is slotted in and turn counter clockwise to loosen.
