The Preventa XPSMCM non-safe fieldbus communication modules are designed for diagnostic connection and data communication to machine field bus or network systems. They have a compact designed, 22.5 x 99 x 114.5 mm, the same size as a typical safety relay.

This Modicon MCM standard (non-safe) communication module has one Modbus TCP/IP connection with a RJ45 connector. It is designed to monitor remotely your safety system with the commonly used Modbus TCP/IP protocol, without additional gateways. It has a rated supply voltage of 24V DC. It is furnished with screw clamp terminals, removable terminal block for electrical connection. It is an IP20 rated product. The non-safe communication modules are designed for diagnostics connection and data communication purposes to machine field bus or network systems. Its transmission rate varies from 10Mbit/s to 100Mbit/s. This communication module is connected to the safety controller via the backplane expansion connector. It weighs 0.3kg.
