What's meant by phase failure?
Three-phase voltage is made up of three electrical elements. When one of these elements fails, it's called phase failure. It causes the current from the failed phase to flow through the other two elements, leading to overcurrent and overheating. This circuit breaker detects phase failure and breaks the circuit before it damages your motor.
