KEMET Position Sensor
The KEMET PL-823 series surface mount, SMD package position sensor has an electrical voltage ranges between 2VDC and 15VDC. This pyroelectric infrared sensor uses the pyroelectric effect of ceramic by absorbing infrared rays emitted from the human body. Also, it can detect infrared rays without using lenses. This allows more freedom in the design of the outer appearance of the end product.
