How do I connect this cable?Plug the connector into the compatible port on your device and use the screws on the sides of the connector to securely hold it in place. This ensures a reliable connection that won't come loose easily.

The SVUSB2N1_10 is designed with 14 pins as the 9th pin is not needed in standard VGA devices anymore. VGA is still a standard 15 pinout connector however the 9th pin is not wired internally. With this cable, StarTech opted not to have a physical pin there as it’s no longer needed.

By VGA standards, it is still wired correctly and labeled as 15 pins. It will still function as expected when connecting to a modern standard VGA device.
