SKF 729124, Hydraulic Hand Pump, 250cm³, 100 MPa

Use this hydraulic hand pump from SKF to mount bearings and components. It's compatible with SKF bearing nuts when producing an interference fit into cylindrical and tapered shafts. The pump uses a groundbreaking oil-injection method to push oil between the mating surfaces, virtually eliminating friction between them and easing the mounting of parts. It's designed for a maximum pressure of 100 megapascals (MPa). Because you don't need to machine keyways onto the shaft, it saves on both production time and materials.

Yes. When dismounting parts, the injected oil can reduce the necessary pulling force by up to 90%, making the job substantially easier. The injected oil overcomes the interference fit and ejects the bearing from its seating with powerful force, making a puller or other assist unnecessary. A stop-nut is recommended to control the ejection.
