The CY8CKIT-145-40XX from Cypress Semiconductor is a PSoC 4000S Protoyping Kit for capacitive touch applications. It is a development board which enables you to explore the functionality of the PSoC 4000S device. The CY8CKIT-145-40XX comes with a USB connector so you can plug the KitProg end straight into your PC. The kit consists of 3 connected boards. There are two capacitive boards, one with 3 buttons and one with a five-segment slider. They are both capable of self-capacitive and mutual-capacitive sensing.
Can I use the KitProg and target board separately? Yes, this development kit features a snap-off structure. This means that you can simply snap the target board away from the KitProg programmer/debugger to use them separately. The two capacitive touch boards can also be separated from the target board, if you wish.
What is the PSoC 4000S?
