RS PRO Gear Coupling, 36mm Outside Diameter, 24mm Bore Coupler

This barrel gear coupler from RS PRO is designed to provide a maintenance-free way to absorb axial, angular and radial misalignment. This item consists of two fully-machined steel hubs. A coupler sleeve is available separately, which reduces the costs incurred if just one part needs to be replaced.

The two hubs are provided unbored, so you can finish them to your exact requirements. This also ensures that they're fast and easy to fit once you have bored them to the required size. The curved teeth on the coupling hubs let them transmit torque by meshing with the axially parallel involute gear teeth of the sleeve. This gear coupler remains effective up to a maximum speed of 10,500 rpm.

The coupler is designed to work without the need for any lubrication. Its typical uses include connecting your motor to a pump, gearbox or electric actuator.
