Suitable for 12 to 24V car, boat and caravan electrical systems, this universal male safety plug provides a quality connection for any number of uses to power portable equipment. The red adaptor allows the plug to fit car cigar lighter sockets, featuring screwed contacts the bending plug can be pivoted 180°. It has an integrated, replaceable 8A fuse, bayonet lock for compensator sleeve and is for use in cigarette lighter sockets and standard outlets.

Cigarette lighter sockets are found in cars or other vehicles and they have two main purposes. Some feature a heating element which is used as a lighter for cigarettes. The majority of cigarette lighter sockets are rated 12 or 24 V.
