The Arduino's Portenta H7 main processor dual-core unit is made of a cortex M7 that runs at 480MHz and a cortex M4 that runs at 240MHz. It simultaneously runs high-level code along with the real-time task. The processor has two asymmetric cores that can simultaneously run high-level code such as protocol stack, machine learning or even interpreted languages like microPython or javascript along with low-level real-time task.
