    Standard Terminal Blocks

Our range of terminal blocks feature various voltage ratings from 24 V dc up to 1 kV. The mounting types include cable mount, panel mount, screw down and through hole. Some of these terminal blocks are direct-mount meaning they do not require a DIN Rail to mount. The range also includes fused terminal blocks which collect, organise and distribute signals with more protection then non-fused terminal blocks.

How do standard terminal blocks work?

These terminal blocks typically have several screw terminals to connect several wires on either end. They often contain two long copper or aluminium strips that are designed to connect different components. The strips act as busbars for the distribution of power that is sent to the connected components. Terminal blocks can also include fuses too.

What are standard terminal blocks used for?

Standard terminal blocks have a broad range of applications, ranging from sound equipment to electrical installations. They are often used in surge protectors, and you will also find them in several public address systems for speakers and other inputs and outputs.

Standard terminal blocks are also widely used in electrical wiring to connect switches as well as other major appliances to plugs in residential and commercial settings.
